Social media has completely changed the marketing game. Want to quickly drum up an audience? You can. There are so many ways to amplify your voice for little to no money. 1. Put the social back in social media.

2. Consider reaching out to a local politician for help.

3. Get comfortable on camera.

Video is incredibly powerful and the camera will love you if you work at it. Film yourself walking around the house over and over again if you aren’t a natural in order to get accustomed to it. Imperfect can be better than perfect. Don’t wait until you feel like your video is 100% ‘there’ to submit it. Imperfections are relatable and help people to like you!

4. Share causes you’re passionate about.

Be genuine, as no one likes phony compassion, but let followers know what motivates and drives you personally and professionally. Again, this makes you relatable and can drum up common experiences or causes with others, deepening the connection.

5. Continue customizing your recipe for success.

Comb through webinars, magazine articles, and books looking for new ingredients. Try keeping inspirational quotes within sight to help keep moving forward and share them with others to help them do the same.

6. Listen more than you talk.

Let people share. Without asking, you can gain valuable information about agents, partners, associates, other entrepreneurs, and potential clients simply by letting them share. Learn to pause.
